Description
The Law Office of Jamie S. Vandivere, solo-practitioner, family law practice, is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal with excellent people skills. Wage is negotiable depending on experience.
Eligible candidates must have excellent communication skills, able to multi-task, ability to work independently, detail oriented, excellent proof-reader, and self-motivate. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality with client information.
Working hours: M-F 8:00A.M.-5:00P.M.
Position Summary: Answer phones, draft documents, proof-read, e-file with courts, contact with client, appearance in court with attorney, set appointment, and assist in trial preparation, etc.
Job Type: Full-Time Position
Benefits: Paid Holidays, health insurance provided, if needed, over-time pay for any hours over 40, paid vacation after one year, (terms negotiable), and matching IRA contributions as allowed by law.
